Lotte E&C is working on R&D projects to reduce the cost to cultivate the micro algae by using nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphate found in wastewater and producing bio-fuel through the algae’s cultivation with the heat and carbon dioxide from power generation plant discharges.

This technology interprets the piping system’s liquid flow in collective energy facilities found in power generation and chemical plants.
When designing or building pipes in large-scale plants, it is possible to predict and suggest design alternatives to the water shock phenomenon that may occur from abrupt flow changes within the pipe system.
